My Story...

I am an actor based out of the Seattle area, specializing in Musical Theatre

I started acting at a young age, doing Shakespeare camps through Camp Bill, as well being an extra in several student short films through Henry Cogswell College. In 2001 I was cast as  Winthrop in Tahoma Sr. High School's production of The Music Man. That was when I realized I loved to sing and dance.

I started ongoing tap classes, did a number of acting workshops and intensives, and participated in student productions at The Village Theatre of Issaquah, WA. Eventually I was accepted into the Steve Tomkins Studio program, where I was trained in various acting and song styles. I was also able to develop my performance skills through workshops with professionals and guest speakers.

In high school, my Senior project was assistant directing and choreographing for my district's Middle and Jr. High school programs. I also did several summer camps to train youth who were interested in theatre, and wanted to develop their performance skills.

As an assistant educator for my school district, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Broadway Teacher's Workshop in NYC.  At the workshop I was able to network with educators from across the US and discuss strategies to strengthen public school drama programs. I got to attend masterclasses with directors, choreographers, actors, writers, technicians and producers working on and off Broadway.

Central Washington University Ellensburg, Washington

I am now working towards my BFA in Musical Theatre at Central Washington University, where I have had the opportunity to learn from industry professionals.

This summer I will be assisting with youth outreach programs, teaching tap workshops, and being a part of At the Ridge Theatres summer programs.
